An advanced platform meticulously crafted in 2022 for Pengurus Besar Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (PBHMI). This comprehensive system serves as the backbone for managing member reception, membership number generation, and event coordination across PBHMI’s extensive network of branches and regional divisions. With its user-friendly interface and robust features, PBHMI DataCentrum empowers PBHMI to strengthen its organizational infrastructure, foster community engagement, and drive positive impact within the Muslim student community.

Challenge

Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (HMI) faced challenges in efficiently managing member reception, membership number generation, and event management across its various branches and regional divisions. With a large and geographically dispersed membership base, the organization struggled to maintain accurate records, coordinate events, and ensure consistent communication among its branches and regional offices. The challenge lay in developing a centralized platform that could streamline member management processes and facilitate seamless event organization at both the branch and regional levels.

Approach

To address the challenge, we adopted a holistic approach that focuses on understanding the unique needs and operational requirements of HMI branches and regional divisions. Our team conducted extensive consultations with key stakeholders to identify pain points and areas for improvement. Based on our findings, we developed a comprehensive strategy for the PBHMI DataCentrum—a centralized platform designed to streamline member reception and management, automate membership number generation, and facilitate event management for branches and regional offices.

Solution

The PBHMI DataCentrum provided a centralized solution for HMI branches and regional divisions, offering a range of features designed to streamline operations and enhance communication. The platform allowed for seamless member reception and management, enabling branch administrators to easily register new members, update member information, and generate membership numbers automatically.
Additionally, the platform facilitated event management for branches and regional offices, allowing administrators to organize and coordinate events such as branch conferences and regional conferences efficiently. By consolidating these features into a single platform, the PBHMI DataCentrum improved operational efficiency, enhanced communication, and strengthened the organizational structure of HMI, ultimately empowering the organization to better serve its members and achieve its goals.
